NextBigWhat is a new resource website dedicated to covering startups, coverage of Digital Industry and Entrepreneurship.
Ashish Sinha, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore—both premier institutes—worked for around six years in product management at companies such as International Business Machines Corp., Ketera Technologies Inc. and Yahoo Inc. Noticing a gap in marketing skills leading to early death of many startups during his years in the corporate world, he began to use blog as a medium to voice his opinions.He started Pluggd.In because he was attracted by the freedom of the blogging medium.
In 2007, he founded a startup directory Pluggd.in (now known as NextBigWhat.com), which has now gone on to become one of the top ranking technology startup sites in Southeast Asia. Pluggd.in features products and services of startups to investors and users. This exclusivity of technology startup focus has helped Pluggd.in to create a community of followers among investors, users, and entrepreneurs.
In November 2012, Pluggd.in is rebranded to NextBigWhat.com
