I recently noticed an entertaining mathematical post with people’s surprised reaction. I didn’t find any generic explanation for this type of pattern for any digit number with any repeatability. So I tried to create a generic equation. But, then it is getting more interesting because it is not only solving the generic solution for this pattern but also by applying this logic, 0/0 =1. So, in this post, I am going to explain the logic behind this. It’s pretty simple mathematics.

In the case of 0/0:

N(Number) = 0

L(Length of Number) = 1

R(Repetitiveness or Occurrence) = 1

Now by putting those values in the equation:

If some argue that the length of 0 can’t be 1 but 0. Then, even by taking L=0, putting it in the equation, still get 0/0=1.

Now, 0/0 = 1

Then, (0/0)-(0/0) = 1-1 = 0; (0/0)-(0/0) = (0-0)/0 = 0/0 => 0/0 = 0

Similarly,

(0/0)+(0/0) = 1+1 = 2; (0/0)+(0/0) = (0+0)/0 = 0/0 => 0/0 = 2

(0/0)+(0/0)+(0/0)= 1+1+1 = 3; (0/0)+(0/0)+(0/0) = (0+0+0)/0 = 0/0 => 0/0 = 3

And so on…?
