Icertis provides cloud-based enterprise contract management software to businesses.

Samir Bodas has a BA in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, and MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Wharton School of Business. After his undergraduate studies, Samir began his professional life as a software engineer at National Instruments. He then went on to receive an MBA in 1992, and spent several years in management roles at Microsoft Corporation. He cut his teeth at startups starting in 2000 at Imandi and then at Jamcracker, and was appointed CEO of Disha Technologies in 2002. He helped grow Disha Technologies five-fold in 2-years and managed its acquisition by Aztecsoft in 2004. In 2006, Samir was appointed the CEO of Aztecsoft and in 18 months successfully guided the company to become the fastest-growing publicly traded mid-cap IT services company. In 2009, he helped finalize Aztecsoft’s acquisition by MindTree. Monish has a BE in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree from Florida Atlantic University. Monish led a string of successful ventures prior to co-founding Icertis, including the launch of BladeLogic’s India R&D. After BladeLogic was acquired by BMC Software, Monish contributed to BMC’s cloud management vision. With deep experience in distributed systems and cloud apps, Monish is the co-inventor of two patents in cloud resource management and provisioning. Samir Bodas and Monish Darda started off building multiple cloud-based applications but scaled up when they homed on a contract management solution in 2009.

In April 2014, Samir and his friend Pradeep Singh, the founder of Aditi Technologies, were talking about Icertis. Samir told his friend that Icertis was doing well, and offered four cloud-based products. Pradeep was particularly interested in the potential of one of them – a cloud-based contract management solution, a domain that had for years been dominated by SAP and Microsoft. Pradeep suggested the founders focus solely on contract management, and looked at raising money as it was a highly valued business and product. At that moment the team of Icertis began to focus only on that, and worked to scale up fast. Icertis Contract Management (ICM) platform helps companies transform their commercial foundation, ensuring compliance, improving governance, mitigating risk, and enhancing user productivity.
