Games2win is one of the top online gaming Online gaming businesses in the world as per Comscore. The company Games2win India Pvt. Ltd. was co-founded by serial entrepreneur Alok Kejriwal and Mahesh Khambadkone, a gaming technocrat.

Alok Kejriwal’s first venture was Contests2Win, which happened because as a consumer he thought sending postcards to participate in contests was ridiculous. He decided to create a digital platform where people could enter contests and quizzes, and that was how Contests2Win came into being. He knew that asking people to pay to participate in contests would not take off. So, he got the brand owners to promote him in return of his services and kept it as a free service to the public. As his venture started appearing in the media and TV in a big way, he was approached by many venture capitalists.

Then he was invited by Softbank China Venture Capital to China to set up the same business as Contest2Win over there on the mobile platform. Thus, he started Mobile2Win of which Rajiv Hiranandani was the co-founder. In 2003, he got excited by the Indian mobile opportunity. So, he started Mobile2Win India. Here they got the opportunity to put together the Indian Idol voting platform.

In 2004, he felt the opportunity to start an interactive agency, Media2Win, which he created with Krishna Kumar. In 2006, Walt Disney Internet Group approached them and acquired Mobile2Win China and Norwest Venture Partners acquired Mobile2Win India. Then in 2007, he co-founded Games2Win with Mahesh Khambadkone.

In June 2013, Games2win has acquired Backyard Game FactorRy, a casual games studio based in Delhi.
